Champions for Children Walk 2008

Forty-five people participated in a 10-mile walk through Joliet on a windy but sunny Sunday (May 18) to raise awareness and funding for the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center. Participants kicked off the walk in front of the Will County Courthouse at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday and hiked 10 miles across Joliet’s East Side. The Will County walk was one leg of a four-day statewide awareness and fundraising event sponsored by the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Illinois.

10th Anniversary, 2005

On September 13, 2005, the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center celebrated its 10 Year Anniversary with a celebration fundraiser at the Rialto Square Theatre in downtown Joliet. Over 150 people attended the event which featured Lisa Madigan, Illinois Attorney General, as the keynote speaker. The Center raised $18,000 in donations.

We thank all our contributors and supporters who enable us to continue to provide critical services to child abuse victims in our community.
