
Save the date for the 6th Annual Men Who Cook Fundraiser!
“Men Who Cook” is a casual event featuring local men who prepare and offer up for judging bite-sized samples of their favorite dishes. Proceeds will benefit the Will County Children's Advocacy Center.
The fundraiser will be held on March 22, 2014 at the Pipefitters Local #597 Training Center in Mokena.
The Will County Children's Advocacy Center will again provide volunteers to work at the annual Naperville Exchange Club's Ribfest in July. For the past 6 years, the CAC has received much-needed funding from the Naperville Exchange Club. Check out this year's event at

Another great year in the books for "Men Who Cook!" This year's event boasted our largest crowd, with over 500 people attending! Thanks to everyone who made out Fifth Annual "Men Who Cook" event a success.

The CAC once again held a successful bake sale at the Joliet Exchange Club's Spaghetti Lunch & Dinner. All proceeds from the event went to support the Children's Advocacy Center.
The Will County Children's Advocacy Center was selected as one of three United Way of Will County Agencies to be the recipient of proceeds from the Annual "Witches Night Out" Fundraiser on Thursday, October 25th.
"Witches Night Out" is a fun event that raises money for women and children in need. The event is filled with people dressed in witch costumes, a shopping bazaar, a buffet, music, a professional photographer, and more. Check out their website at: www.witchesnightout.com

Will County Children's Advocacy Center. 10% of the sales on that day

Truth Restaurant in Joliet selected the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center as beneficiary of the proceeds from their 6th Annual Golf Outing on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Inwood Golf Course. Each year Truth’s owners, Kate & Doug Mohundro, donate proceeds from their annual golf outing to a local charity
Cost was $115 per golfer, which included green fees, lunch, goodie bag, beer on course and dinner at Truth after the round.
Will County Children's Advocacy Center volunteers spent a great evening working at the Naperville Exchange Club's Ribfest this July. All proceeds from Ribfest go to support the Naperville Exchange Club's mission to eliminate all forms of child abuse and domestic violence. For the past 5 years, the Will County Children's Advocacy Center has received funding. Thank you to all the volunteers who contribute their time to work at this event and thank you to the Naperville Exchange for your support.

Forty-five people participated in a 10-mile walk through Joliet on a windy but sunny Sunday (May 18) to raise awareness and funding for the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center. Participants kicked off the walk in front of the Will County Courthouse at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday and hiked 10 miles across Joliet’s East Side. The Will County walk was one leg of a four-day statewide awareness and fundraising event sponsored by the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Illinois.

On September 13, 2005, the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center celebrated its 10 Year Anniversary with a celebration fundraiser at the Rialto Square Theatre in downtown Joliet. Over 150 people attended the event which featured Lisa Madigan, Illinois Attorney General, as the keynote speaker. The Center raised $18,000 in donations.
We thank all our contributors and supporters who enable us to continue to provide critical services to child abuse victims in our community.

This year, the Will County Children's Advocacy Center launched a new program that offers furry friendship and canine comfort to children who have suffered the trauma of sexual abuse.
